Responsibilities:

  • Resolve Customer Technical issues through diligent research, reproduction and troubleshooting
  • To work closely with other Techs/Engineers to progress projects, review and resolve issues
  • To provide support in implementation projects
  • To provide quick and efficient resolution
  • To handle customer relationship effectively
  • To be able to support and maintain existing system
  • To take ownership and do close follow up on projects
  • To perform any cognate duties

Experience:

  • Relevant degree or diploma from a recognized university or institution
  • Proven working experience in Linux/Unix technical support to customer
  • Administering Volume groups , logical groups
  • Working knowledge of NFS & TCP/IP configuration
  • Experience in implementing/administering cluster services
  • Knowledge of shell scripting
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Storage system
  • Experience in Enterprise Backup management solutions
  • SAN/Network, hardware configuration knowledge
  • Good knowledge of LAN/WAN
  • Certification in HP_UX and HP Platforms would be an advantage
  • Knowledge in Windows

  • Self-motivated with good team spirit
  • Interested in IT products in general
  • Outgoing personality with good communication and inter-personal skills
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, in English and French
  • Clean driving license
  • Able to work odd hours
